Yes, find a credible CCCS. Be careful because there are a lot of scam artists out there who will promise you the world when they really can't do much. In most cases they will consolidate your debt and try to lower your IR so you can pay this off quicker. Do it, at least this way you can keep your head above water and get some sleep.
Call CCCS. I used them several years ago and was debt free in 36-months.
It will show on your credit report that your accounts are being managed by credit counseling, but believe me that's a lot better than them showing delinquent.

Yes, credit counseling can have a negative effect on your credit rating..... but probably not as bad as falling behind on your payments. Do what you need to do.
You can certainly make a phone call and get some info on what they can do to help you, and take at least a few days to think about it before you commit to anything. Any company that wants you to commit to their plan immediately is NOT looking out for your best interest, they are looking to make money off you. A company looking out for your best interest is the company that wants you to be well informed and make your decision with confidence.
