first of all please don't write any rude comments if you don't like uggs... okay well i want to buy uggs but im not sure what color to get...i want chestnut or chocolate but im not sure which to get...i have brown hair and brown eyes if that helps and i normally wear a lot of abercrombie and hollister...here are pros and cons on each :)
*chestnut
cons: can get dirty easily, everyone has them
pros: goes with most of my outfits
*chocolate
cons: they get horrible salt stains (im not sure if its true or not), i personally don't think it goes with my clothes that much
pros: doesn't get dirty easily, not as popular
btw im getting the short kind just so you know...and should i buy the protective spray? do i have to?? thanks so much!! i really appreciate your help! :)Ugg help/advice!! please help! 10 points!! :)?
i 鈾?UGGS!
I love uggs and have the chocolate and chesnut......i got the chesnut in 2007 and one of the big problems with them is that they faded from the sun and look orangy.....and i took extremely good care of them by never wearing them when it was rainy or muddy or snowing so they faded from the sun and the two years that i had them....they do match a lot but now they hardly match things because of the color fading. i got the chocolate in 2008 and they are still in good condition this fall they match a lot of dark browns and all colors really i also have dark hair and dark brown eyes and i think that they look better. to answer your other question about the protection spray i got it for my blue clogs uggs and patchwork uggs and sprayed it on them and when it was rainy there were no spots left on them.....i'm getting it also for my chocolate and chesnut uggs too. it will prevent wet marks in case u get caught in the rain wearing them...
hope i helped

Chestnut would be really cute! Who cares if everyone has them, as long as they compliment your clothing well.
Try spraying on a suede protectant before you wear them for the first time (this will prevent them from getting discolored from water stains since they're a light color), and invest in some ugg-cleaner.
you can get them both at this sight:

Good luck!
ok, get the sandy colour. i know you want either chocolate or chestnut, but both can get horrible salt stains. i have emus and they still have salt stains. you can never completely get rid of them. but if you sandy colours, and salt is a white colour, you can't really see them. and they'll go with everything.
You should get the chocolate for a few reasons...
1. Not a lot of people have them, so you won't just blend in with the rest and not get noticed.
2. You could go shopping and find a few key pieces to wear with your new shoes.
3. They will look nice if you have chocolate brown hair too :)
4. I own some chocolate brown uggs and not once have they had a stain or mark on them.
i was just like you last fall. I decided to get the chocolate short ones because they didn't get as dirty and everyone else had the chestnut. The chocolate surprisingly goes with more than i expected them too.
hope you found this helpful and good luck!
chocolate! you're definitely right, they don't get dirty as fast. Plus they don't have to go match with your clothes exactly, it'll be a cute style to mix it up with different clothes. And you'll stand out, in a good way.
Get chestnut since you said it goes with most of your outfits. Even if they do get dirty you can always wash them off with a wet rag and get them clean (:
Definetly go with the chocolate youll stand out and they really don't stain very badly. The short kind is good because the tall ones get really hot.
The chocolate would probablly last longer and would be a better choice i think
i say chocolate since you have brown hair and brown eyes.
chestnut
i've had the chocolate ones before and they do get horrible salt stains, and it's true the chestnut do get dirty easily. currently, i just have black ones and i really like them cos they go with everything since black is such a basic color. but if you really want some sort of brown, i'd say go for chocolate, it's just a nicer shade than chestnut. and no i dont think you should get the spray cos i didn't get it but when i got salt stains after last winter, some warm water, soap, and a brush got them out. the spray is just a waste of money.
