I want to get my boyfriend a car for his birthday and i'm going to pay cash. I already have one in mind. I want it to be a surprise but i have to put it in his name. I know the dealership is going to want to see his drivers license but i want to buy the car and bring it to his house without him knowing. How can i do this? I don't want to put it in my name. If anyone out there that works at a car dealership can answer this for me, i would really appreciate it! Thank you!I need some advice, could someone help me?
I'll send you my license if you'll marry me'I need some advice, could someone help me?
Rich People. I hate you.
Borrow his wallet with out his knowledge.. once the vehicle is purchased place the wallet some place easy for him to find.. like next to toilet, behind his car seat, in his clothes hamper, in his bed, between your legs..In your slippery hands..
Could you not sneakily ';borrow'; his license?
If you are getting the car at a dealership, I would tell them exactly what you told us. Ask them if a copy of his drivers license will be enough to get the car in his name. Then make a photo copy of his license. If you are paying cash for the car, they may be more lenient with the identification you provide. If they will be titling and registering the vehicle for you, and some dealers do that, they will need his drivers license number and maybe his social security number. (Depending on the state you are in) If you are going to do the motor vehicle work yourself, some states require the owner to do it themselves. Basically it depends on the dealership and the state you are in what the rules and regulations are for the dealership and the state.
Good luck..nice gift!!
