This is going to sound disgusting, but I need an answer on what should I do. Last night I had to use the bathroom. I had to do the number 2. Lately I haven't been able to do the number 2. So when I really had to do it, which was last night. It was kinda hard for me to do. It took me about 3 to 5 minutes later to push the first one out. When I was finish, I noticed that I was bleeding. It must started bleeding when i tried to push the first one out. It wasn't a lot of blood just a little bit. The same thing happen this morning. I was wondering if this was happening because i wasn't able to go before and that it was too hard for me to do the number 2. Should i go to the doctor or just take some caster oil and see what happens? Usually when it's that time of the month. I'm suppose to take caster oil when i'm on it because sometimes i get constipated. This month I didn't take the caster oil.Worried need help (advice) asap?
Diet will be a big part of this, as the poster above said. Your dietary fiber and water intake play a huge role in the comfort of your BMs.
For a quick solution, rather than the castor oil, consider a stool softener instead of a laxative, like Colace or Dulcolax. This will allow your stool to hold more water, making it softer and easier to pass. These are short term solutions though and the dietary changes above should prevent you from needing them again.Worried need help (advice) asap?
It sounds like an anal fissure--basically when you get constipated, the stool is too hard and too big and it tears your anus when it comes out. Gross, I know. It can take a few days to heal, depending on how bad the tear is. I'd go to the doctor just to make sure its not something more serious, but I'd bet that's what happened.
My doctor told me to eat more fiber and lots more fruits and veggies to get my stools softer when this happened to me.
What is your diet like? You bled because you strained so much. Having a movement is supposed to be easy! You should start taking psyllium husk in the morning. Start off with 1/2 a tablespoon in a cup of water or juice, and after a week, move up to 1 tablespoon. Also check out www.herbdoc.com to educate yourself on the importance of bowel health.
That's how you get hemorrhoid's. You need to eat more fiber, or take a stool softener to prevent this in the future. Sounds like you just tore a little blood vessel inside and you'll be fine. Don't eat so much red meat without a salad and dark green veggies.
its because of ur diet and the fact that ur straining... I have had this numerous times.. no need to go to docs. just eat food high in fiber and prune juice. u will be fine i promise
