one of my good male friends split up with his long term girlfriend a few months ago and since then we have been flirting a lot and there is a lot of tension if you get my drift, and recently we've even been cuddiling up and stuff (but not kissing). i'm certain he is over his ex, he dumped her and talks openly about how their relationship actually ended a long time before they even split up. however i hear she still really likes him etc. and they have slept together since they broke up, although not for a whille.

it sounds like he's NOT over his ex if they sleep together since they've been broken up.. i don't think you should get involved in something like that , its only gonna end up hurting you. just give it more time. I say wait untill he has no contact with his ex at all. and untill you don't even hear from her.
let the dust settle completely.
then make ur move.
