TOUGH ONE. ALL THE SIGNS OF GENITAL WARTS? NEVER HAD SEX? INTERESTING. EITHER YOU ARE LYING OR YOU POSSIBLY GOT IT FROM A TOILET SEAT. AND CATCHING IT FROM A TOILET SEAT IS VERY RARE. VERY RARE. HONESTLY, I BELIEVE YOU ARE LYING. OR EITHER YOU WERE RAPED WHILE BEING UNCONSCIOUS. YOU NEED TO GO SEE A DOCURGENT help / advice?
Genital HPV is passed on through genital contact, most often during vaginal and anal sex. A person can have HPV even if years have passed since he or she had sex. Most infected persons do not realize they are infected or that they are passing the virus to a sex partner.

Very rarely, a pregnant woman with genital HPV can pass HPV to her baby during vaginal delivery. In these cases, the child may develop warts in the throat or voice box 鈥?a condition called recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP).

First appearing as painless bumps on the vagina or penis and surrounding area, genital warts, also known as human papillomavirus (HPV) can become fleshy in appearance if left untreated. However, in some cases, no symptoms appear, even though the individual has contracted the STD.

In women, genital warts increase the risk of cervical cancer. Gardasil is a vaccine recently approved that decreases the risk of both genital warts and cervical cancer and is safe to be administered to young girls and women who are between 9 to 26 years of age.
someone might had it , touch them self or ich them self and touch u with there hand ? best thing to do put it in to google. and see a docter and get ur self check out asp. good luck

Assuming you diagnosis is correct, it is quite possible to spread hand warts to the genital area. You will need to see a doctor to get the diagnosis confirmed and for management.
highly contagious infection....like herpes, warts can be any where on the body but if it appears on the genital region doctors class it as an std which i think is daft because not everyone who catches it has had sexual contact so in your case you've touched somone ';non sexual way'; just normal day to day or its been on a suface ';the germ'; i mean and you've touched yourself easy as that as i said highly contagious, maybe you had a wart on your face and spread it? but go to doctor for cream, good luck hun
You could have been born with it. You may have contracted it from your mother during birth. Otherwise, sex is the only way to have true genital herpes. It is possible to get 1 small wart via too much contact with loads of warts on your hand or something like that, but very rare and you would need to have a lot of warts on your hand and a lot of contact. If that were the case you could have it removed and it wouldn't come back, but if it is genital treatment won't help it is purely cosmetic.
You could also have moluscs. These present very much like genital warts, except under a microscope, the doctor will be able to tell the difference.

You can catch these from swimming pools, friends clothes, touching someone infected or having sex (although you say that you havn't done this!) amongst other things.

Try not to worry, I wouldn't go to your GP though, you should go to your local GU clinic instead (these are usually at the local hospital). Its fine, lots and lots of people go there and you will find that the nurses and doctors there are very understanding. You should give them a ring, they often have walk in clinics or appoinment times too - either way, they should be able to see you this week.

Good luck, and try not to worry!
