My wife is in iraq. any advice to help is thru it?

I'm assuming you mean she is in Iraq because she is in the military? My fiance is in the military also, and the advice everyone has given me for when he goes overseas is to just keep busy and find lots of things to do to fill the time, rather than worrying or missing your partner. The one good thing about her being away is that is gives you time to do things you want to do ... like finding a new hobby, taking a class, painting the house the colors you like without having them vetoed by your wife lol. Try to talk as often as possible, but I'm told that sometimes it's hard to predict when you will get to talk next. So just try to be patient and keep busy. And absence makes the heart grow fonder, so when she gets back, you two will be able to celebrate!

First - Get in the base's support group. Lots of great activities that really do help support the troops and their families.





If you have kids -- getting really involved in making their lives great is the best thing you can do for her. She'll be thrilled to hear everything you are doing together. Be the (at-home) Mom she can't be right now.





If you do not have children --- Keep a journal and send it to her weekly or monthly. It will help her feel close to you and BELIEVE ME -- She wants to FEEL CLOSE TO YOU!!!!!!!!





Be the honorable man she married -- Stay true and stay strong -- Don't give in to loneliness. Turn it into a positive. Build her something, go to school to help increase your future potential. It will give you both a greater life. Help take care of her parents/family. Keep close to them.





Sounds like you are a TERRIFIC husband. That's all she needs!!!!!

Yes. Live each day preparing for her return. Work your *** off and do things that she will find amazing to see when she returns. Obama is in office and there will be troops coming home soon.....she will be one of them. Make it a home to come home to. Good luck

take a vacation to iraq if possible and visit her. and bang her. i bet shes horny from being with mostly men soldiers. no disrespect.. just saying.
